Flurge or Flerg?

Well you would have to be blind not to see the amount of people checking out the SNL video of Tina Fey as Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton, genius. I fully admit that I have a geek crush on both these women and I think they are a brilliant team that plays of each other well.

The reason for the post is the term that Amy Poehler used in the sketch, which is incorrectly being searched for as "Flurge". in fact at the time of this post it is the number 1 spot on Google Trends.

Ms. Poehler is know for her occasional use of urban slang on the show. The word "Flurge" is a slang word, but it simply is a combo of "Flush" and Purge", both being related and used interchangeably any how I can see the melding of the two.

The term Ms. Poehler was referring to in the Palin/Clinton sketch, is "Flerg". This can be loosely described a flaccid penis and has been in slang as an adjective. As in: "That chick is a flerg", translated "That girl makes me lose my erection". It could also be used as a noun, "I'm getin a flerg from these fat ho's fupas", translated "I am getting a soft penis from these full figured women and their fat upper vaginal area or pooch.

I hope this was both educational and helpful. I wanted to set the record straight. By the way in the same exchange between Tina Fey as Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton, Poehler also used the term "boner shrinker" basically defining flerg in mainstream slang.

That is all

50 foot spider roaming London?

The "Huge", 50 foot spider is part of a modern art demonstration set to launch on Friday.

The giant spider is currently attached to the side of a building and frankly it's quite disturbing.

Apparently the spider will be making it's way around town until Sunday when there is a "big event" planned.

Does anybody in the UK read comic books? Isn't this always the way [insert your favorite villain here] plans to take over the world? I'm not going anywhere near a 50 ft spider, let alone a robotic one.

Download Google Chrome it is released

Google finally released it's new web browser, Download Google Chrome.

The secret Beta release was leaked yesterday and Google did finally post the facts on their blog. The web has been a buzz about Google Chrome, however I love the competition brewing amongst developers to get the generation of browsers out and about.

You've got:

The idea behind Google chrome seems to be a simplification of the multiple tasks web users do on a daily basis. Google specifically mentions surfers watching videos, playing flash games, building web pages, reading news stories and just about anything else you can imagine.

It is the nature of technology to evolve and the tools one uses to interact with that technology must keep up or stay ahead of the pack. This move has been a long time coming and I for one am excited to see what becomes of Google Chrome.

Download Google Chrome Browser

Google Chrome will be releasing tomorrow 9/2. The news leaked through an google comic book style presentation they had put together.

You can view the comic book in Google Docs. I will be downloading it tomorrow providing the US is one of the 100 countries that is getting it. Have fun reading the google comic book.

Here's the PCMag.com article that got me interested. The author brings up some good points.

Jerry Lewis Telethon information

The Jerry Lewis Telethon to benefit MDA is kicking off tonight. You can check to see what channel the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon is on in your city.

This is always a tremendous event and definitely worth time spent watching. There are going to be celebrity guests, both young and old and plenty of live TV mishaps as usual.

Last year this event was able to generate $63.8 million for the much needed research. This year can hopefully shatter that.

If you would like to get involved with Jerry's Kids, you can visit the MDA site and find multiple options to help. They don't only need people to donate to Jerry's Kids, there are many other options to choose from.

Please help where you can.

Thank you

Wilson Hazing Case

This makes me sick. The boys charged in the Wilson Hazing case are getting off easy.

For those who have not heard about the case, 3 members of the Wilson Highschool Basketball team are said to have beaten and sadomized 3 members of the junior varsity team. Two of the victim's mothers have given details about the case. Apparently they were beaten and had "objects" forced into their rectums while still wearing their pants. Somehow I guess the "pants" make it less of an issue.

One of the alleged attackers is 18 and 2 are 16. They are reducing the charges from felony to misdomeanor. I don't get this. This is not an 18yr senior boy being accused of "endangering a child" because he is dating freshmen or sophomore, a fairly common accurance when I was in highschool. (Three of my girlfriends would have been charged under these circumstances.)

This is flat out assault and some could argue "rape". Would the same hold true if the victims were female? For our country's sake, I hope not.

More reason to vote for Obama in November.
